Preparing for Your Journey
While guests are responsible for organizing their own travel and entry documents, we want to make your arrival at Shanti MIZU in Mandrem, North Goa as seamless and stress-free as possible. Use this practical guide to easily navigate your visa requirements, flight options, and local logistics.
Indian Visa Information for International Guests & Students
Most international visitors from Europe, the UK, the US, and Canada require a visa to enter India. For short retreats or 200-Hour/300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training courses, travelers typically apply for the online e-Tourist Visa (30-day, 1-year, or 5-year). The online application is straightforward and usually approved within 3 to 5 business days via the official Indian government portal.

The application process is entirely online via the Official Indian Government E-Visa Portal. Please ensure you only use this official government website to avoid unauthorized third-party fees.

Getting to Shanti Mizu
Goa is highly accessible via two international airports. We strongly recommend flying into the new Manohar International Airport in Mopa (GOX), which is a convenient, stress-free 45-minute drive from our sanctuary. Alternatively, you can fly into Dabolim Airport (GOI), located roughly 1.5 hours away.
Trusted Airport Pickups: To guarantee your absolute peace of mind, we are happy to arrange a private, trusted airport taxi driver to meet you directly at the arrivals terminal and bring you safely to our doorstep. Please contact us in advance with your flight details to book your transfer.

Nourishing Meals & Practical Guide
Nourishing Meals: Your stay includes wholesome, delicious vegetarian and vegan meals prepared fresh daily, designed to fuel your yoga practice and support your holistic wellness journey.
Payments & Currency: We accept secure international payments via bank transfer, credit cards, or Wise. ATMs are widely available nearby in Mandrem, though keeping a small amount of Indian Rupees (INR) cash is handy for local markets and beach cafes.
Power & Plugs: India uses Type C, D, and M plugs (230V). We highly recommend packing a universal travel adapter for your electronic devices.
Data & SIM Cards: For instant data connectivity, you can easily purchase a local Indian eSIM or a physical SIM card (Airtel or Jio are recommended) directly inside the airport arrivals hall when you land.
